Bee happy ... hip hip holidays!

A few snaps to show you what me and Mr Happy got up to on our holidays in North Devon :)

Beach huts on Woolacombe beach

Love this fence on Woolacombe beach, the National Trust have erected
it to help preserve the sand dunes behind

Playing on the rocks at Woolacombe beach watching the tide come in.
These rocks are great for rock pooling when the tide is out.

Popped into Silverston for a coffee on the way to Bicester,
bought a few goodies from Links of London and fabric from
Cath Kidston :)

We literally stumbled upon this ickle fellow on the back garden
late at night taking the doggies out before bed. Tash decided to try and
play by knocking him with her nose which caused him to roll up in a ball
causing Tash to get giddy and wanting to play even more!

Mr Happy insisted I include this photo of an F1 car.  Marussia Virgin Racing is our local team
based in Dinnington and we were really, really, really, really lucky to be invited to look around their head quarters before we went to Devon.  Inside where the team work on the 2 F1 cars is so white and clean, very impressive!
I think this was Mr Happy's highlight of the holiday! His Marussia Virgin Racing t-shirt even turned up in the post on the Thursday before we went on the Sunday! Such good timing!

I received my magic ball swap from Kandipandi in the holidays.
She has used some gorgeous wool, so cute!

Inside there were buttons, a needle case, crocheted flower and cloth which I adore the colours of these.
I also got some stamps, candles, CK tissues, hand cream, bath bomb and heart pegs!

I am so lucky thank you so much Kandipandi, I love all of my gifts :)

Explored Hartland in North Devon for the first time, we also saw
posters advertising the Antiques Roadshow at Hartlands Abbey for
that week, we were going to miss it as it was later that week but
will be looking out for it on TV.

The tide is in at Hartland's.

Hartlands again, it is so Enid Blyton Famous Five here with rocks,
caves and hidey holes, I love it!

View on cliff top looking over Croyde beach.
Hope I haven't bored you with these holiday snaps, I know what they can be like!!

Bee happy .... reporting from Bicester

Got my bargains from Bicester! Got there about 10.30am on Saturday and it was already starting to get busy, you couldn't move in the Ugg shop!

I went into CK as planned and got a few bits.  Found these bath towels which was great because I have already got a couple of hand towels in grey spot.

Got this oilcloth bag, had to have it, it reminds me of Westward Ho! in North Devon :)

Got this tin of 4 star mugs and star tea towel as part of a wedding present for my nephew, his wife to be loves stars, so had to get them!

Got this tea towel for me as it matches my oven gloves :)
CK put this card circle in the bag, I just love the texture of it!

Got smellies from Crabtree.

I have also got another award from lovely Saphy at http://saphysprogress.blogspot.com/, thanks Saphy, you're too kind!

It's the Versatile Blogger award, I am running out of time as have to be at the doctors soon so will post this tomorrow! thanks again Saphy.

Bee happy ..... grow a tree

Thanks for your help, I have managed it somehow, it seems to be different everytime loading pics!!

Don't rub your eyes, it is a very large envelope.  There is a reason, it was to keep my wall stickers safe from Cox and Cox!

I ordered 2 sets of stickers for my hallway, one tree for the wall near the front door and the other set for the landing upstairs.

Just have to paint the walls first.

Have a great weekend everyone, I'm off to Bicester tomorrow!

Bee happy .... go shopping

Went shopping to Bicester on Saturday, Scarlett Fontaine at Scarlett Loves Elvis made me go, she told me of the delights of this shopping village and I must say she was right!

Bought some cushion covers from Cath Kidston, cheaper than making them with her fabric.  The beige ones for the lounge and the 3 colours for the kitchen chairs.

I got some goodies from Crabtree and Evelyn and love the
 inside of the bag!

My lovely smellies from Crabtree :)
