Bee happy .... use a postcard

I was having trouble finding all of my grips when I needed them.

 

 

I decided to use some Cath Kidston postcards to store them on.

 

They won't get lost now and I can see which grip has the bee, heart, crown etc on and don't have to spend ages rummaging around.

Bee happy ..... give a basket a good home

Out and about a little while ago we spotted a wire shopping basket dumped at the side of the road.

I decided I wanted it and gave it a good home.

It has been sat in the garage for a while but inspiration struck yesterday!

I got out my white spray paint and sprayed the basket to make it cleaner and prettier.

I then got out my trusty glue gun as I wanted to wrap the handles with pretty ribbon.

I used the glue to secure the ribbon so it didn't unravel when it was being carried.

All finished and with only one hurty on my thumb where the hot glue burnt me :(

Lots of uses for my lovely new basket.

Bee happy .... get some boxes

I recently purchased some boxes/crates and have found a wonderful use for them.

I was really missing a display area/dresser top in my kitchen so I stacked my lovely crates on top of each other and I now have my display area.

My lovely Pip Studio and Cath Kidston things can be seen everyday now :)

Vintage cake forks readily available.

I added a few fairy lights and it is finished :)
