Bee happy ..... tie dye napkins are finished

Remember my tie-dye pack I received in the post?

 

 

Well I got started on it this week and decided to use buttons of course!

 

I put a buttons randomly in the napkins and then put elastic bands around the fabric

to secure the buttons in place.

 

The dye all mixed up in the bowl with the napkins soaking looked quite pretty.

 

Rinsing the dye off the pretty button patterns appeared.

 

I am really pleased with the results, what do you think?

Bee happy ..... get colour popping

I was recently contacted by the lovely people at Dunelm as they wanted to send me

 something in the post.

 

A few days later this little package appeared through my letter box.

 

 

A couple of plain white napkins and Dylon colour in grey to try my hand at tie-dye.

 

I have been thinking of some ideas and will let you know how it turns out!
