Bedroom update

I love velvet at this time of year.

I've updated the white bedroom with grey stripe bed

linen and velvet cushions and throw.

These gorgeous blue cushions are from H & M.

The pink blush cushion is from Cox and Cox.

A perfect place to snuggle up in to read when the

weather turns cold outside.

I wanted to share my recent purchase with you all.

I just LOVE stationery and adore Paperchase.

I noticed these cute pink leather pouches, great for using as a pencil case. 

They were reduced from £30 to £21 but when I checked at the till the one in my hand went through at £3! 

So I immediately picked up the last remaining one, so 2 for £6 what a BARGAIN!

Bee happy ...... hang up a dress

I was out shopping recently in the sales and came across this pretty dress.

 

It's not an everyday dress with the beading detail and net skirt but is so lovely it seems a shame to hide it away.

 

I decided to use a pretty hook and hang it on the bedroom wall as art.

 

 

I can admire it everyday now.

Bee happy ..... bee number 1

I have been making some fabric rosettes.

 

I tore all of the pink fabric instead of cutting as I love this look.

 

Matching pink ribbons finished off the look I think.

 

I also wrote with the sewing machine using free hand embroidery.

 

 

These pretty rosettes are now hanging in my office to remind me I am number 1!

Bee happy ....... get a gift

I have been a lucky girl this week and I am very happy!

 

My lovely friend made me this gorgeous crochet blanket in my favourite colours.

 

 

Pink, grey and white.

 

She knows I don't crochet too well so spent her free time crocheting squares for me and she finished sewing it together this week.

 

I just love the frill she put around the edge of the blanket.

 

She knows I love frills too :)

 

Thank you so much my sweet friend, I will treasure this beautiful blanket forever.

I love my new shoes.

I just need to decide which laces now, pink or white.
