Bee happy ..... read Homespace by Darren Palmer

Book Review

Homespace

By Darren Palmer

Murdoch Books

I just love this book. It is full of useful tips and practical solutions on how to update or change your home, very easily.

Tips include simply creating drama with focal points along with changing the look of a room completely by moving your furniture around. A great update which Darren suggests is how to dress your bed with cushions and throws for a completely different look, just by using different coloured bed linen and accessories. This is great for a new season up date.

Darren looks at different styles of homes, for example a beachside build to a new home providing a brief for each property style.

Kitchens, bathrooms and lounges are all included in this great book with ideas for individuals living in the spaces and any challenges they may encounter.

Homespace is filled with great photos which provide inspiration for you to apply to your own home.

Soft furnishings, accessories and artwork are all used to create many looks and Homespace allows you to easy copy the ideas for your own home.

Even by changing a rug in your lounge and nothing else, this can alter the total effect and feel of the room.

You can make simple changes on a budget or without and by following Darren’s advice make your house a home that you love to spend time in.

Bee happy ..... go sale shopping!

I wanted to share my recent purchase with you all.

I just LOVE stationery and adore Paperchase.

I noticed these cute pink leather pouches, great for using as a pencil case.

They were reduced from £30 to £21 but when I checked at the till the one in my hand went through at £3!

So I immediately picked up the last remaining one, so 2 for £6 what a BARGAIN!

What's your most recent best buy?

Bee happy ..... it's Father's Day soon!

It's Father's Day soon and a great gift would be a personalised photo gift from www.snapfish.co.uk

I recently ordered this photo book which is 20cm x 20cm and is a great memory of a recent Paris trip.

You can choose the colour, of the photo book, layout and style and add your own words to your chosen photos.

The pages are glossy and the book is a cute hardback one.

The design I chose was simple with a varying range of photo sizes which I had great fun choosing photos to fit.

You can use Snapfish.co.uk for any photo gifts and great individual photos for printing out to put in photo albums or scrapbooks.

What will you get your dad for Father's Day?
