Bee happy ...... every day

I have been busy making this Bee happy every day plaque using some of my pretty supplies.

What do you think?

I was wondering maybe about using the image for a postcard to send out with orders from www.beehappyhome.co.uk, any thoughts?

Bee happy ..... get sticking

I saw this cute laptop keyboard on Facebook today and had to investigate further.

At first I thought you could buy laptops like this and I thought about shouting to Mr Happy "I'm just popping out to the shops!" but then I thought I would check out Pinterest.

I love the idea of making your laptop or keyboard prettier with pastels and florals.

Turns out you just need your washi tape stash and you can do it yourself!

Thanks for showing me the way Pinterest :)

I am so tempted to do this!

Are you?

Bee happy ...... get the Singer out

I recently got out my old Singer sewing machine for a photo shoot with my ribbons

I had been storing my lovely machine in the garage and after Mr Happy had dug it out for me it needed a real good dusting down!

I am pleased with the results though.

The sewing machine has cleaned up well and the ribbons and lace look good too.

I also had to sneak my Bee happy pin jar into the photos which I made a while ago.

The Singer machine also has an extendable table for bigger sewing jobs which would be great on my modern Singer sewing machine.

Bee happy ....... it's Autumn

Out and about locally and wanted to share a few Autumn pictures I took.

I love this season, the colours, the nip in the air and wearing a cosy jumper.

Which is your favourite season and why?

Bee happy ...... gorgeous fabrics

Came across these French/Paris styled fabrics recently and just love them.

Not sure what to use them for though.

Maybe just for looking at for now.

Bee happy ........ make a bag cushion

The product of the week at Bee happy home and accessories is this cute Bee hessian bag.

It is so easy to make a cushion out of a bag and this bag is perfect for the French style.

Cut the handles off.
If you have matching fabric you can stitch a panel in one side which folds over the cushion pad.
Cut both handles in half and measure and stitch 2 either side of the bag.
Tie the handles to make bows on top and to keep the cushion pad inside.

You could always leave the fabric panel off or use matching or co-ordinating ribbon for the ties instead of the using the handles to introduce spots or stripes.

Which room in your house would this look good in?
