Bee happy ...... get the Singer out

I recently got out my old Singer sewing machine for a photo shoot with my ribbons

I had been storing my lovely machine in the garage and after Mr Happy had dug it out for me it needed a real good dusting down!

I am pleased with the results though.

The sewing machine has cleaned up well and the ribbons and lace look good too.

I also had to sneak my Bee happy pin jar into the photos which I made a while ago.

The Singer machine also has an extendable table for bigger sewing jobs which would be great on my modern Singer sewing machine.

  1. You can't beat an old singer, can you? The photos are lovely. I have an old Singer in the cupboard under the stairs and I keep saying it would be great to have it serviced. Have a good week. x

  3. Beautiful machine, Deb. It reminds me of my mom's old Brother machine. It still worked...they don't make things like they used to, that's for sure. Have fun sewing. Your ribbons and lace look so pretty, and I like your pin cushion jar...sweet idea.

    Sew be blessed today :)

  11. Oh I cannot believe it! I have a hand crank Singer so like yours! They are just beautiful. When I bought mine and got it home, I found the original bill of sale inside. Mine was purchased in England! It's in the storage unit now or I would look at it and tell you more details. Great for your pix!
