Bee happy .... get ready for Easter

Just a few pictures today of my Easter decorations.

I have my hanging chickens and bunnies.

I have mini chocolate eggs and creme eggs, I'm all set!

I bought this glass cake stand a few weeks ago from Matalan and instead of using Mr Kipling's iced fancies to fill it I decided to put in a nest from Hobby Craft, a real egg, some chocolate eggs and some little chicks.

The feathers were found on our back garden a couple of weeks ago, I think they are from a pheasant.

Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!

  1. What a cute idea to use the glass dome for an Easter display, I have one knocking around somewhere, I might try that. (I find it too hard having displays of mini eggs - I just eat them all)

  2. That's a great display idea! Enjoy the lovely weather.x

  3. I have just been to the shops and boughs some little chicks because my son loves them. I shall be making a little decoration this year I think and maybe even some bunting, this gorgeous weather certainly puts us all in the mood for bright and cheerful things

    Have a great weekend!

  4. how cuteeee!! the cute chicken and eggs and gorgeous cake stand! love it!

  5. I love the pretty chick display - so cute. Isn't Easter lovely? xx

  6. Oh this is just lovely! I love cloched cake stands, I've always wanted one! They remind me of a lovely Victorian themed tearoom I used to visit whenever I was home from Uni, all sorts of edible and non edible curious on glass stands like these :-)

You cannot beat Mini Eggs, pipe cleaner chicks and sparkly things! :-)

    Jem xXx

  7. Such a cute display, i have a cake stand like yours but its pink so not great in showing off the goodies inside! Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog, hope you are enjoying the sunshine today :o) Scarlett x

  8. I'm afraid those chocolate eggs would last about 10 minutes around me..just enough time to photograph them and then straight into my mouth. :)

It's all very stylish and beautiful - and that 2nd last photo could be straight from a magazine. Real eye candy. I like it a lot.

  9. looks lovely!!! you should be proud of yourself!
