Bee happy ... hip hip holidays!

A few snaps to show you what me and Mr Happy got up to on our holidays in North Devon :)

Beach huts on Woolacombe beach

Love this fence on Woolacombe beach, the National Trust have erected
it to help preserve the sand dunes behind

Playing on the rocks at Woolacombe beach watching the tide come in.
These rocks are great for rock pooling when the tide is out.

Popped into Silverston for a coffee on the way to Bicester,
bought a few goodies from Links of London and fabric from
Cath Kidston :)

We literally stumbled upon this ickle fellow on the back garden
late at night taking the doggies out before bed. Tash decided to try and
play by knocking him with her nose which caused him to roll up in a ball
causing Tash to get giddy and wanting to play even more!

Mr Happy insisted I include this photo of an F1 car.  Marussia Virgin Racing is our local team
based in Dinnington and we were really, really, really, really lucky to be invited to look around their head quarters before we went to Devon.  Inside where the team work on the 2 F1 cars is so white and clean, very impressive!
I think this was Mr Happy's highlight of the holiday! His Marussia Virgin Racing t-shirt even turned up in the post on the Thursday before we went on the Sunday! Such good timing!

I received my magic ball swap from Kandipandi in the holidays.
She has used some gorgeous wool, so cute!

Inside there were buttons, a needle case, crocheted flower and cloth which I adore the colours of these.
I also got some stamps, candles, CK tissues, hand cream, bath bomb and heart pegs!

I am so lucky thank you so much Kandipandi, I love all of my gifts :)

Explored Hartland in North Devon for the first time, we also saw
posters advertising the Antiques Roadshow at Hartlands Abbey for
that week, we were going to miss it as it was later that week but
will be looking out for it on TV.

The tide is in at Hartland's.

Hartlands again, it is so Enid Blyton Famous Five here with rocks,
caves and hidey holes, I love it!

View on cliff top looking over Croyde beach.
Hope I haven't bored you with these holiday snaps, I know what they can be like!!

Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!

PS: yes I cover some of my recipe book with the fabric to make them look interesting hehe

  4. Thanks so much for visiting my blog, and following it! It made my day :)
It sounds like you had a really nice holiday. I enjoyed looking at the photo's. I like the colourful beach huts. What a cute little hedgehog..my dog found one as well in the backyard, he wanted to play with it, but the hedgehog wasn't interested in the least :P What lovely presents, I like how it was wrapped up in the wool, with the knitting needles, what a clever idea.

  13. Fabulous photos! Your swap looks great.

We used to have an identical wooden fence along our coast but the council have recently removed it which I think is a great shame.

Thank you for your very kind comment on my blog. You're right that it doesn't feel like it, but I do keep trying to remind myself that things will get better :) x
