Bee happy ....... be happy

After painting the hallway floor it was time to touch up the kitchen floor as you can see from this picture.

This is the spot behind the door where the little doggies wait in a  morning and you can see they tend to get a bit excited jumping up and down! So much so they have worn the paint off!

Everything had to be stripped out of the kitchen and worktops cleared as I was using the electrical sander and dust would go everywhere! The living room came in real handy for storing things ;)

Out came the sander and this is what it looked like.

The little assistant is here again helping in her kind usual way :)

After lots of hard work the floor is now finished and looking great just like the rest of the floors in the house :)

I did mention on my last post that a kind lady gave me something the other day, well here it is :)

A gorgeous settee which I have decided to keep in the kitchen instead of the kitchen table for now which is in storage in Mr Happy's garage.

I love this chair/settee, it fits this gap perfect and is now the coffee time seat :)

This green chest was in the hallway but is a perfect coffee table and matches the kitchen cupboards.

I'm not the only one who loves this chair!

Can you spot the real dogs?

Master bedroom pictures now.

All stripped out and ready for preparing the walls for painting.

More to come on the master bedroom.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of my followers old and new, I appreciate that you spare your precious time to follow what I am up to, thank you everyone.

I will be having a giveaway soon as I have been blogging for nearly a year now and it is my birthday soon as well so a great reason for a giveaway!

Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!

  1. Love the settee - so pretty with the wallpaper, and having somewhere comfy to sit in a kitchen is just my favourite thing. In my favourite childhood kitchen we had a fireplace, a rocking chair and a seat built into an alcove as well as the table and chairs - it was perfect, and it's where we all congregated, even when we visited after leaving home.

  3. Your house is so lovely. I have been thinking of painting the dining room floor boards white for a while, but everyone keeps telling me not to with two kiddies and two dogs, but I'm now thinking if you cope then so can I!!! I love painted floor boards soooo much!

  20. Is there no end to your energy Deb?! You're boundless! I love the way you're tackling things systematically - I get halfway through one thing before moving onto another. It all gets done in the end though I suppose!

I actually really liked the peeling, scraped paint of the floorboards :-)
