Bee happy .... footstool update

Do you remember the cover I made for my footstool when I decorated the living room?

You will probably remember that I decided to take the cover off and recover the footstool by fixing this fabric over it which matches my curtains.

Well I decided to put a frill around the side so I made the frill and attached gingham ribbon to it.

I then hand stitched the frill the whole way around the footstool, let me tell you this took a while and my fingers were really sore!

A little helper sat with me while I stitched away.

Finished footstool.

I love this much more than the checked cover as it is plainer and more shabby french style.

This morning I received some lovely goodies from

which I won in her wonderful giveaway recently.

She has embroidered this cute picture which I will be hanging in my kitchen.

There was also a huge bundle of fabrics as well :)

Thank you undomesticated scientist for such a wonderful giveaway.

It's nearly the weekend and my birthday.

I will be having a birthday giveaway on 1st December so keep an eye out.

Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!
