Oh my gosh, I am going to join the club. I am home sick with a terrible cold and aches and feel just awful. Thank goodness there are so many wonderful blogs to visit to pass the time since I don't feel like doing anything! Hope you both get better soon! Julie

Oh you poor dear...I sure hope you feel better soon! Those old colds can really sap your energy. Love love your buttons, especially the hearts. Make sure you drink plenty of liquids...any chicken soup? Let us know how you are progressiing...Rest well my dear friend! Hugs
The red heart buttons are fabulous, sorry you are under the weather, I feel a bit like that myself :( In answer to your question about the book thing :) I have looked at all the pros and cons and when I finally get around to finishing the one I started ages ago I will probably take the plunge :) xxxxx
I have the same red buttons....I really prefer old vintage buttons ...love buying them from charity shops then sort through them...never Knowing what to find....ciao Alison
I had admired the top set for ages and then last month bought them and used the first one to finish a knitted patchwork blanket - bliss! Get well soon! L.x.
Button collections are comforting, aren't they... I'm so :( to hear that you're not feeling well, and of course I hope you are better soon!! I know what you mean about the dizziness with a cold. Rest and relax, it's just the body's way of telling us that we need to do just that.
I did take a look at your book. I love the cover designs, and what a great idea for a book...journaling your experiences in house buying. I think that's a timely subject.
I don't have a kindle, myself...but I know that many people are enjoying that venue, so I decided to take the plunge. Thank you for your purchase. On my next "A Little Something Extra" I'll talk about your book, and let you know when I post it.
I'm sending you well thoughts so you can once again Bee Happy!
Aw I know how you feel, but thankyou so much for sharing your buttons here. It must have been really difficult to find the energy to do that. :) I hope you feel better soon. Jess xx

Deb, here is one of my tea poems - a Feel Better Soon Tea Poem that I hope will cheer you (though I can't promise the format will be right):
ReplyDeleteSo you say you're feeling funny,
The sort that needs some tea and honey,
And you only want to site down and unwind.
Then just put on the kettle.
Take your tea & cup and settle
In the biggest, comfy chair that you can find.
And don't forget to stir in
All the love that I am sendin'.
Keep good cheer & happy wishes on your mind.
Big hug,
Marianne
