Bee happy .... think summer thoughts

I wanted to show you some of my recent handy work.

After my holiday to Devon I was inspired to make some fish.  I even used real shells :)

These cute little fellows are now hanging in my summer house.

I have given the garden a little revamp.

I made new bunting for my lovely summer house and because I loved it so much I made more for the fencing at each side of the summer house.  I used brown twine to attach the flags to as I didn't have any ribbon long enough.

The cream flags are actually old curtains I had.  I can hear some of you thinking about bunting shaped holes in a pair of curtains now which are still hanging at a window! Don't worry they were in my cut up box :)

I also painted the old fence the same colour blue as my summer house, the fence looks like it will last a bit longer now, it looked old and wobbly before.

Have you noticed my ickle friend sat on the fence while I was snapping away with the camera?

He followed me around the garden until I put a lard ball out for him!

Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!

  13. It's all looking very pretty. I wonder why Robins are associated with Christmas and winter time, we get more Robins in the summer in our garden then any other time of year, it's very odd, beautiful birds though xxx

  17. It looks fab together! Do you use your summer house? I would love one to make "pretty" but dont know that I would actually use it. I feel that if it is nice then I sit in the garden and if it isnt quite warm enough for that, I sit in the dining room overlooking the garden.............so do I need one?!
