Bee happy ...... Yarn bombing and shopping

Has anyone else seen the yarn bombing about a new style of graffiti?

I found these pictures and thought I would share, they are so cool!

Just adore these little bees :)

If I was a fast knitter I would probably have a go myself in my own village ;)

This is the sun setting outside our house the other night, it was so beautiful.

We did have a lovely sunny day the next day as well.

I went to Clumber Park with my niece the other day and we made a few purchases.

This wool throw was only £12!

I always buy lavender linen spray from National Trust shops as I spray the bed covers at night.

These note cards were a great buy and such cute pictures.

On the way home we pasted Sainsburys and called in for a few bits and came out with an outfit!

Cashmere jumper and cord flower skirt, love the textures of both.

Hope you are all having a great week, I am stuck in the downstairs toilet painting away, this is the last room now, so glad I've nearly finished!

Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!

Lovely sunset..As they say, Red sky at night, Shepherds Delight :)
You sure found some great things..
I like the wool throw, that is a great price for it as well. They can be quite costly. That should keep you nice and toasty this winter.
Such sweet bird illustrations on the cards as well.

Have a good week! :) Happy Painting!

  3. Great pictures... loving those knitted bees :) I went into a National Trust shop last week and was amazed at all the lovely things they had for sale. They have opened a Christmas shop in Wallington Hall Estate, it is full of the most wonderful decorations and gifts too.
Hope you get your painting finished... nothing worse than being stuck in the toilet! ;) Abby xx

  4. Knitted graffiti :) How about a bit bit of knitted magic in your loo? Or maybe that's a step too far? xx

  5. I love the look of yarn bombing - something I might be tempted to try when I can move faster ;) Those little bees are very cute.

Great buys too - might have to think of a reason to visit Sainsburys ;)

  7. I have to admit, I'm not big on any kind of graffiti for a wide variety of reasons. But I will say that these are a cheerier alternative.

Great finds on your shopping trip. The woolen throw is really nice.

    Enjoy the day,
    Marianne

  8. Love the wool throw - I saw one in Lytham last week that was £100+ ! I can't wait until we're on the last room - another 6 months I think as we have the lounge, the kitchen and the hall and stairs to do ( all new doors and stair parts required!), which are the 3 biggest jobs and the most expensive.

  9. Love, love, love the yarn bombing! I was planning to make a load of little birds and sneak out under cover of darkness to sit them in the trees in all my friends' gardens, but I haven't got around to it yet!
