Came across these jars from East of India in John Lewis recently.
They are so pretty and could easily be copied by threading pretty buttons onto thin wire then wrapping around the top of the jar.
This is my button jar which I made.
I had been saving this jar which had honey in and the bee on top for something good.
It was easy to make and looks good too :)
Bee happy x

Truthfully, I like your jar better. I like the bee on top and the colored lid, and you certainly made it look pretty with the buttons. What a simple, yet clever idea.

ReplyDeleteThat is such a fab idea and a great idea for thrifty Xmas presents.
ReplyDeleteWith two small boys and one on the way in Jan, (hoping for a pink one), and birthdays that fall just before xmas, 13 odd nieces and nephews to buy for, it all starts getting a bit tight towards that time of year however hard we try to shop around and buy throughout the year!
I see pretty jars of all sorts being given out this year!
Thank you for the idea. Xx
That is so cute! And a good idea for those extra jars...and extra buttons! :-) Thanks for sharing. By the way, I l love the bee on top of your jar too. It had me thinking about all of the different things could be put on the lid too! ^_^
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet idea. I was just looking for ideas as I have a few spare jars around the place. Thanks! xx
