Bee happy ..... get screen printing

Remember my screen printing set I bought while on holiday in North Devon from Clovelly Silk?

Well, I finally made time to have a go this weekend.

This was my tester on an old sheet.

I haven't done any screen printing since I was at school so was quite nervous.

I had made this crown stencil myself, you may be able to see the skull and cross bones under the screen print that I have also made myself.

I think this turned out quite well.

I bought this stencil with the bee and crown, too small to try and cut out myself.

I now need to sew my printed fabrics into something :)

  17. Wow - that's so clever! They look so professional! I am in the middle of a creative journey right now - trying out things that I've been admiring for ages, but have never thought to try myself. I will definitely be adding screen printing to my list. What a brilliant and inspiring post - thank you!
