Bee happy ....... another cupboard makeover

I have also aquired this cute grey distressed cupboard recently.

It did have a mirrored glass front but this had been smashed.

Glad it wasn't me, don't need any more bad luck!

I took of the door panel and the handle so I could then staple chicken wire on the back of it.

My roll of chicken wire has come in handy for a couple of jobs now.

After cutting the chicken wire to size I stapled carefully on the back of the door.

The door is back on and the handle screwed back on.

I love the look of this new cupboard :)

What are you changing?

  1. This looks gorgeous, I'd absolutely love to use reclaimed cupboards like this little beauty as wall cabinets in a kitchen once I buy a house!

  4. THERE'S NO STOPPING YOU NOW!
At the moment I'm changing our bedroom...lavender grey...a little more pastel than I had expected so I think it might need some bolder accessories.

  8. Really shabby chic, love the grey. I have a large cabinet in my bathroom
which has chicken wire in the doors. Because I do not want to see all my shampoos etc, I have also added fabric to the inside, it looks really pretty.
