Bee happy ...... giveaway and pretty wall hooks

I have been busy making again :)

I found some old bits of wood in Mr Happy's garage and decided to make a
couple of peg boards with it. He did say afterwards that I wasn't allowed in there again without supervision ;)

I used pretty Tilda wrapping paper and co-ordinating ribbon to hang up the boards.

I then glued some traditional pegs in place.

I sanded back the paper to distress it a little.

I haven't had a giveaway for a while so one of these peg boards is up for grabs.

To win the board with grey/white gingham ribbon all you need to do is -

1. Be a follower of this blog

2. Leave a comment on this blog with your favourite saying/rhyme

3. Be a friend on Facebook (link in sidebar)

4. Like Bee happy on Facebook

5. Follow my other blog

6. Put a link in your sidebar with the first photo about the giveaway

That is 6 entries in total.

The closing date is 8th June when a winner will be picked at random by a lovely assistant who happens to be passing by.

Bee lucky and bee happy x

  2. i love them. my hubby doesn't do wood. he doesn't do DIY unless he thinks i may just destroy the house attempting it (he's seen the glint in my eyes when the word hammer drill is mentioned).

  3. Hmmm a favourite saying. How about 'See a penny, pick it up and all day long you'll have good luck'

Lovely giveaway prize - you are clever! (I'm not allowed to use hub's tools either!)

I follow your other blog as well as this one. I'm off to like you on FB now.

  6. I'm following your blog via GFC.

My Grandfather had a saying "Never let your right hand know, what your left hand is doing" I've no idea what it meant but I've always remember it

  7. I'm already a follower of your blog, I love the peg board, such a great idea.

My favourite saying - "Up there (point to head) for thinking, down there (point to feet) for dancing"

Again I'm not really sure what it means other than stating the obvious, but it was my great-uncle's favourite saying, so it makes me smile.

  8. Hi Deborah, the peg boards are lovely with the distressed Tilda paper - would love to enter the giveaway please!
Am already a follower on your other blog, and will pop over to FB and like and be a friend too.
A fav saying that springs to mind and one that I try to follow is "don't put off til tomorrow what you can do today" - ie. get stuff done and dusted now and then you can forget it - i hate having things hanging over me and on my mind!
