I have had the paint brush out again.
This cupboard and 3 crates came in this brown varnished wood look and since getting them I have been itching to paint them white.
I finally got around to it last week.
I unscrewed all of the little plates and saved them in a plastic cup so I didn't loose them.
After painting I screwed all of the plates back on again.
I think this little cupboard looks so much better white and all my bits and pieces stand out better against the white background.
Have you been painting something?
Bee happy x
Gorgeous - you can't beat a bit of white paint!

Really like that! Have been trying to persuade Mr Boo that our pine dresser would show off my china much better if I painted it white, but he's having none of it.Grrr!

I love to get painting but I must be in the right kind of mood....love the little shelves and I absolutely love the Cabbage and Roses wallpaper in the background....ciao Alison
ReplyDeleteI love what you have done Deborah. I have lots to paint but I cant seem to get round to it at the moment.
ReplyDeleteEvery one needs one of these! I'm going to "vintage" a chair soon x
ReplyDeleteI'd love to paint our old wall cupboard but I'm not allowed :( Your painted boxy thing looks super! xxx
ReplyDeleteReally looks great, you did a good job.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Bee! ... And the only thing I paint in my house is my toenails!! ^_^
ReplyDeleteYour cupboard is a delight,Deb, and shows off your bits and pieces perfectly.
ReplyDeleteAlmost everything looks better painted white...at least that's the way I tend to think lately. I've been thinking about painting an end table I have white. But I'm not sure if I need to sand off the finish first.
Thanks for the creative idea...may your day be filled with fun and joy,
Marianne xo
