Bee happy .... visit some chicks

As it was sunny yesterday I decided to get my table on the garden to give a sand down so I can repaint it.

I had just started when my lovely neighbour shouted me, she told me she had brought her chicks home from school.  She is a head teacher at a primary school and the chicks had started as eggs at the beginning of last week and were already hatched and looking cute!

I couldn't say no, so I downed my tools, or rather husband's tools and we went to take a peek.

This is her sweet daughter Sam in her new sunglasses :)

The chicks are already a handful!

Aren't they so cute!

I will return with news on the finished table in a later post.

Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!

  1. Aaaww, the chickens are so cuuute. Oh how I would love to have chickens, not possible in a terraced house with a miniscule garden in London. One day......

    The table's looking good.

  3. They are sweet, I love the idea of chickens, but by all accounts they trash the garden, and we have loads of foxes too...

  8. Soooo cute.....hubby and I were at the feed store this weekend and I had to really tell myself no to buying some new peepers! It didn't help that hubby was encouraging me to get some.....but I just got my little flock grown and happy with each other. Peepers are so much fun!

  11. They are so cute - I still hold a small hope that MrVV will give in and say yes to chickens here - I will win - just might take a while ;)

  13. Gorgeous little chicks. :)

You've just reminded me it's time to get out my sander and paint, and tackle some projects I've put off doing during winter - but with the weather warming up I can't delay any more. Looking forward to seeing your finished project.
