Just a quick one today.
I had these grey curtains up a few houses ago and wanted to put them on the stairs to match the new wallpapered wall.
The only trouble is that they were too small so because I had 2 sets I stitched 2 curtains together for each side and encountered another problem.
They didn't quite match along the bottom as they were cheapish curtains.
My solution was to make and attach a voile frill to hide any discrepancies along the bottom.
I covered the frill with a piece of white ribbon.
I think it looks good now.
I also stitched a black out liner curtain to the back of the curtains as it is so high it is difficult to get to the heading tape if the lining slipped so stitching it in made sense.
I am working on something on the stairs instead of carpet so stay tuned, it could be interesting!
