I have been really lucky, I was given 2 big boxes yesterday from a friend who owns the kennels where we take our little doggies for their overnight stays and for grooming.
She used to make all her own clothes and her children's years ago and when she found out that I make things she said she had a couple of boxes of fabic for me! How sweet is she?
We unpacked them together and there was loads of different fabrics.
Cottons, linings, cord, wool, voile, polyester, silk.
Because she has had these boxes for years I think they are now classed as vintage! I'm so excited.
I've dragged these heavy boxes to the garage for now until I decide what to make :)
I also wanted to show you what I did with some left over CK wallpaper from my kitchen diner.
If you look closely on the bottom shelf you will see that the inside is brown. I thought my CK wallpaper would look much prettier.
I just cut pieces to size and used a little blue tac to secure the back to the shelves.
I filled it with my Laura Ashley teapot set and teacups.
Bee happy x

ReplyDeleteI’m just sending out a quick message to let people know their Faith Hope and Charity Swapping partners. Days of spreedsheet fiddling I tell you, if this works it’s going on my CV! I won’t have access to a PC from Tues 31st until June 6th – so any questions will have to wait til I get back I’m afraid. I’m going to put up a quick post on the rules before I go, but for now you can check out your partner’s blog and start figuring out what they might like.
Your swap partner is Moonstruck Creations
