Bee happy .... hit the sales

I have been using my credit card a little too much at the moment, it can’t be helped though as the sales are great.

First off, an on line order from Monsoon which came today.

When I tore open the bag there was a free copy of the Grazia magazine, don’t you just love free things J
Also in this package was a new grey cardi with pretty buttons and scallop edging.

Down to the good stuff, lots of buttons, ribbon and binding on wooden bobbins.

On holiday I also bought a couple of things too.
I just had to buy this Kirstie Allsopp book after visiting Clovelly Silk in Devon. It is really good and full of all the craft projects that Kirstie did along with great instructions.

This cute little bits and bobs tin came from Levens Hall in the Lake District.
I just couldn’t resist this, not seen this design before and had to have it.

You may have spied the brown box under the bag in the first picture, this is for another time!
I wonder what you have bought in the sales?
Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!

  3. I visited Clovelly when my son was just 3 (17 years ago!) and it was a lovely place. Your cardif looks fab, love the buttons. I bought some walking gear on Craghoppers for my hols in October, not as inspiring as your buys! Amanda x

  4. not exactly in the sales...but at our local Dress Agency shop I bought a FABULOUS Italian cardi and French Connection skinny jeans, and the lady gave me 10% off- and I didn't even ask!

  5. Lovely Monsoon bargain - you can't go wrong with Monsoon classics. In the sales i found a White Stuff cable knit sleeveless cardi which goes with a surprising number of things I own for Winter, I am looking for nice buttons tho as their's are plastic. I did treat myself to a new parka coat from Boden and also some silk painting supplies for some projects I have on the go. Clovelly Silk looks like my kind of place. I haven't been to Clovelly since I was little. Betty

  7. Wonderful!! The cardigan is very pretty, I love cardigans. And the buttons, and binding look like you'll be creating some wonderful items.

I love craft books or magazines...I have quite a few, but rarely make more than one or two things from them...I always have good intentions though.

Enjoy your goodies, darling...ooo, I can't wait to see what's in the brown box.

    Sending hugs and love,
    Marianne xox
