Do you remember these spoons from the car boot at the weekend?
I have spent a little time cleaning them up as they were quite tarnished.
I think they have come up wonderfully!
They are now clean and shiny, ready to use for afternoon tea.
Will you join me?

OO yes please!:) There is something lovely about silver spoons.
ReplyDeleteYes, please! I bought some silver polish and now I am inspired to buff up some of my jewelry.
ReplyDeleteYour spoons are beautiful!
Beautiful find from a boot sale! I'd love to join in!!
ReplyDeleteI would be delighted to join you, Deb. Your teaspoons came out so lovely. I remember when we were in England many moons ago (1980), and I ordered tea I was given a REAL teaspoon to stir. Oh, it was such a delight. It was so small and dainty, and perfect for the job. Here is Texas when they give you a spoon it's usually a huge tablespoon...LOL...I mean really! It sort of ruins the ambiance, if you know what I mean.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting me, Deb. I always love to see your happiness on my comment page.
Blessings for enjoying your teaspoons,
Marianne xo
Ooops - I made an error...we were in England in June, 1983. You were having a heat wave, and we were having a tropical storm or hurricane blowing through our hometown in Texas. It knocked down the frame to our first home we were having built.
ReplyDeleteI would love to join you for afternoon tea please....one of my favourite things! The little spoons are a wonderful find, and they look so pretty now they are all polished up!
